02What are the guidelines for authors?
Please refer to the Author's Guidelines section on our website for detailed information. Manuscripts must follow the APA 7th Edition style and meet all specified requirements.
03How is the peer review process conducted?
All submitted manuscripts undergo a single-blind review process, ensuring high-quality research publication. The first decision is typically made within 2-3 months.
04What is the similarity index requirement?
Manuscripts must have a similarity index of less than 10%. Submissions exceeding this threshold will be rejected.
05What file format should I use for submission?
Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format, following the journal's formatting requirements.

AUTHOR'S GUIDELINES

Author's Guidelines
Manuscript Preparation:
- Title: Ensure the title is clear and concise, accurately representing the research.
- Abstract: Provide an abstract of not more than 250 words, summarizing key objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
- Keywords: Include 4-6 relevant keywords that define the manuscript.
- Body Text:
- Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced.
- Sections: Introduction, Significance, Objectives, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion.
- Equations, tables, and figures must be sequentially numbered and referenced.
- References: Follow the APA 7th Edition referencing style.
Formatting and Length:
- Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
- The manuscript should be within 3000 to 5000 words, including tables and references.
- Upon acceptance, papers must be resubmitted in the journal's format.
Submission Process:
- Submit manuscripts via the online submission system. Submit here.
- Submission should include:
- An anonymized manuscript for review.
- A cover letter detailing the research's importance.
- A separate document with author details and ORCID IDs.
- 2-3 suggested reviewers.
- A similarity report (below 10%).
- The authors are advised not to submit more than one paper in one issue
Review Process:
The review process follows a double-blind model, taking 2-3 months for the first decision. Inquiries may be sent after this period.
Similarity and Plagiarism:
Manuscripts must have a similarity index of less than 10%, otherwise, they will be rejected.
Figures and Tables:
- Figures must be with high resolution (300 dpi or higher).
- Tables should have descriptive titles and must be referenced in the text.
Copyright and Conflict of Interest:
Upon acceptance, authors must submit a copyright transfer agreement and declare no conflict of interest.
The DU Journal of Education does not take any publication charge from the authors.

REVIEWER'S GUIDELINES
Thank you for agreeing to review a manuscript for DU Journal of Education. As a reviewer, your role is critical in ensuring the quality and integrity of the research published in our journal. Please follow the guidelines below while conducting your review.
Confidentiality:
- All manuscripts are confidential. Do not share or discuss the manuscript with anyone other than the editorial team without prior permission.
- If you need assistance with any part of the review, inform the editor in advance.
Timeliness:
- Reviewers are expected to complete the review process within 60 days of receiving the manuscript.
- If you are unable to meet this deadline, please notify the editor as soon as possible.
Evaluation Criteria:
- Originality: Is the research original and does it contribute new knowledge or insights to the field?
- Relevance: Does the paper align with the scope of DU Journal of Education?
- Clarity: Is the paper well-structured, with clear objectives, methods, and conclusions?
- Methodology: Are the methods used appropriate, sound, and sufficiently explained?
- Results: Are the results clearly presented and supported by the data? Are the figures and tables useful?
- References: Are relevant previous works cited appropriately?
Please provide constructive feedback to help the authors improve their work. Avoid personal comments and focus on the research content.
Ethical Considerations:
- Plagiarism: Report any concerns about potential plagiarism or ethical misconduct.
- Conflicts of Interest: If you have a conflict of interest with the authors or the subject matter, please inform the editor immediately and decline the review.
Review Report:
- Summary: A brief summary of the manuscript, stating its objectives and contributions.
- Comments to Authors: Detailed feedback on the strengths and areas for improvement. Highlight any specific sections that need clarification or revision.
- Recommendation:
- Accept without revisions
- Accept with minor revisions
- Accept with major revisions
- Reject
Decision Process:
- All manuscripts will be reviewed in two stages. The Editorial board will make an initial blind review for selecting the quality manuscripts. The rejected manuscripts in this stage will not be process further. The author may check the status of their manuscript in the website. The editorial board will not contact the author over phone or E- mail explaining the reasons of rejection.
- The manuscripts selected by Editorial Board will be sent for second blind review. For minor revisions, the final decision will be taken by the editorial board after receiving the revised manuscript. For major revisions, the revised manuscript will be returned to the reviewer, and their opinion will play a critical role in the final decision.
Anonymity:
DU Journal of Education adopts a blind review process, meaning reviewers are anonymous to the authors.
Review Process:
- After completing your review, submit your report through the provided review portal or email it directly to the editor at duje@dibru.ac.in.
- The editorial board will make the final decision based on your and other reviewers’ feedback.
